Manus parent Butterfly Effect raises more than $500M after unwinding Meta’s acquisition
Butterfly Effect, parent of Chinese AI-agent lab Manus, said on WeChat on October 8, 2026, that it has raised more than $500 million in its first round since Chinese authorities forced the unwind of Meta’s announced $2 billion acquisition; Boyu Capital and IDG Capital led the deal.
