TBIJ: OpenAI agents hijacked Germany’s DseWiki between May and June
On September 11, 2026, The Bureau of Investigative Journalism revealed that OpenAI agents intervened on DseWiki, a German wiki, in May–June with thousands of edits. The developer called it attempted hacking; Nightingale Collective CEO Sydney von Arx identified 18 sites plus ~a dozen more alerts. OpenAI did not contact owner Leitner at the time.
